Introducing some of our students
We have a variety of awesome students at Circle of Iron who have been training for the past couple of months or years with us! Here is a brief intro to some of our good friends! Julien- From Paris, France. Julien is a great guy who learns faster than anyone! He had to go back to France for studies but we keep in touch. We miss you brother! A great friend and student! Fred from Norway--Fred trains in martial arts all over the world. If he's not training at Beijing Jujitsu Academy, he's training in Kali. If he's not training in Kali, he's in Thailand doing Muay Thai. We've known Fred for about 2 years. He's a great guy and a real Viking who is proud of his Norse heritage. He's become a great Jujitsu fighter too! Niko the Giant--From Finland--Niko is a good friend and great guy. Naturally a huge strong guy. If you can make techniques work on Niko, they can work on anyone! He's been training since last year. Wayne from the UK. Wayne is an aspiring music producer and former Karate stylist. Wayne has been training for almost 2 years off and on and is a great friend. Ren from Bangladesh- Ren just started training with us. He's a bodybuilder and another very strong guy, but a real gentleman. Teresa Chan from San Francisco--Teresa is an American studying Chinese in Beijing. She is a good friend and student and learns very fast, probably because she already holds a black belt in Shorin-Ryu Karate. Kevin from Canada--Kevin has been training off and on for almost 2 years and is a student here in Beijing studying for his MBA. Kevin is a funny guy. He comes faithfully for training for a while and then disappears for months at a time! But when he trains, he trains! Chris Hoffman from Germany--Chris is only interested in Muay Thai right now. He joined our group after returning from a Muay Thai camp in Thailand. Now he is becoming a great Thai boxer and has natural ability. He's off to Thailand for another 2 week training session at one of their camps. He works very hard in Muay Thai class and fights till he pukes! Sam from America--Sam trained for a couple of months in Muay Thai and picked it up very quickly. Sam is taking a break from training now but we miss his enthusiasm and hope to see him again soon. Alan from America---Alan trained in all of our martial arts and learned really quickly! He's in Malaysia now for work, but we hope to see him soon! Alphie from the UK--Alphie has done some kickboxing before and has joined our group recently. He's taken some time off training but will be back soon! Caspian from the UK--Caspian likes to train every night. Recently he took some time off of training, but will be back next week. Xu Jin Wei--A Wing Chun Gung Fu stylist and our first Chinese student. Xu Jin Wei is very serious about martial arts and has never missed a single day of practice! He is dedicated and fearless and always willing to train hard. These are some of our great students and friends here at Circle of Iron! We love all you guys!

Dog Brothers Instructor Russ Iger Seminar Information
Dog Brothers Instructor Russ Iger is available for a 2 day seminar. The seminar would cover long and heavy weapons, footwork, angling, some knife work and much more! See http://www.wohsai.com/Article_Show.asp?ArticleID=667. for an idea of what Mr. Iger would teach us. This seminar would be 5 hours of training each day for a total of 10 hours of training. Mr Iger is willing to come for 2 days to train us for 4000 yuan total (He is even paying his own airplane ticket!!).... That means if we divide that up between the students, it will be really cheap. The more people who come, the cheaper it will be. Mr Iger could train a group of up to 20, but we would like to keep the group at 10 or less for training purposes. Everyone is welcome, whether you are a student here, or at other schools. Please let me know if you would like to come. If we could get a group of 10 people together, the price for a 2 day seminar would be only about 400 yuan each! This is a great opportunity to learn from a high level Dog Brothers instructor. Mr. Iger comes highly recommended by the head of the Dog Brothers organization himself. If you are interested in attending, please let me know. Thank you! Jon
